On April 30, 2026, Pakistan’s National Tariff Commission (NTC) announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) Self-Adhesive Tapes in Jumbo Roll form, originating from and/or imported from Vietnam.

5. Key Procedural Deadlines:

  • Interested parties must register with the NTC within 10 days from the date of notification (no extension precedent).
  • Submissions of views, comments, and evidence must be filed within 45 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
  • A preliminary determination is expected within 60 to 180 days, and a final determination within 180 days thereafter.

  • Urgently review export activities (volume and pricing) to Pakistan during the investigation period.
  • Register as an interested party in a timely manner and prepare a strategy for participation.
