European Union (EU) Initiates Anti-Dumping Investigation Into PET Plastic Products Exported From Vietnam
On May 22, 2025, the European Commission (EC) issued a Notice initiating anti-dumping (AD) conditions on certain PET plastic products originating from Vietnam, imported into the European Union (EU).
It is known that from December 2024, PET plastic products have been included in the warning list of the risk of trade remedies investigation by the Trade Remedies Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade).

Here are the details of the case:

- Goods under investigation: Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin with a viscosity of 78 ml/g or higher, according to ISO Standard 1628-5, currently included in the CN code 39076100
