To completely resolve outstanding issues, the Customs Department requires the regional Customs Sub-Departments to implement the following:
- Instruct subordinate customs units to proactively review and coordinate with relevant customs units to take necessary measures to process all pending on-the-spot import and export declarations in accordance with the directions of the General Department of Customs (now the Customs Department) stated in the following documents:
Note: All pending on-the-spot import and export declarations must be fully processed no later than December 31, 2025.
- Report the number of remaining on-the-spot import and export declarations at each unit to the Customs Department (via the Customs Supervision and Management Division), ensuring accuracy and compliance with the content of Official Letter No. 1454/GSQL-GQ2 mentioned above.
The Head of each Customs Sub-Department shall be responsible for the accuracy of reported figures and for clarifying individual accountability in cases where subordinate units fail to complete assigned tasks as required.
