On June 11, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an anti-dumping investigation (CBPG) and anti-subsidy (CTC) on hardwood and decorative plywood imported from Vietnam. 

Here are the details of the case:

  • Case Code: A-552-851 (CBPG) and C-552-852 (CTC) 
  • Products under investigation: rigid and decorative plywood 
  • Related HS codes: mainly in HS codes 4412 and 9403 
  • Plaintiff: Fair Trade Association with American Hardwood Plywood 
  • Countries under investigation: China, Indonesia, and Vietnam 
  • Application Receipt Date: May 22, 2025 
  • Alleged dumping margin: 138.04% – 152.41%
