On 19 January 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 121/QĐ-BCT on the official imposition of anti-dumping duties on certain wood fiberboard products originating from the Kingdom of Thailand (Thailand) and the People’s Republic of China (China).

3. Description of goods:
Certain wood fiberboard products made of wood or other lignocellulosic materials,whether or not bonded with adhesives or other organic binding substances
4.Exclusion criteria:
Including fiberboard products that have been surface-coated where the surface layer is not homogeneous with the core material of the board. The surface has been coated with one of the following layers:
- Paper with UF, MUF or MF adhesive
- Surface Painting
- Laminate
- Acrylic resin
- PET Plastic
- PVC Plastic

7. Final Conclusion:
- Dumping practices have been determined for imported goods from Thailand and China.

8. Official anti-dumping duty rates:
The official anti-dumping duty rates are stipulated specifically for each group of producers/exporters.
- For China: from 2.59% to 39.88%
- For Thailand: from 3.09% to 20.20%

9. Duration of application of the anti-dumping measure:
The duty rates take effect from 19 January 2026 and remain in force for 05 years (unless otherwise amended or extended by a subsequent decision)
10.Subsequent processes and procedures:
The Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with customs authorities and relevant units to monitor and supervise the implementation of decisions, especially acts that are likely to evade trade remedies.
